Privacy Policy

This website collects almost nothing. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from anyone else’s servers. The only information it gathers is what you deliberately type into the contact form.

1

What this policy covers

This policy describes how DS Tax Solutions handles information collected through this website, dstaxsolutions.com.

It is separate from the confidentiality that applies once you become a client. Tax return information is governed by the terms of your engagement and by federal law restricting what a tax preparer may do with it — including Internal Revenue Code section 7216, which makes unauthorized disclosure or use of return information a criminal offense. Nothing in this website policy narrows those protections.

2

Information you send through the contact form

When you submit the contact form, we receive what you entered: your name, your email address, your phone number if you chose to give one, the service you selected, and your message.

That information is delivered to us by a form-handling service called FormSubmit, which passes it to our email inbox and keeps a copy for up to thirty days. We use it to answer you and to keep an ordinary business record of the enquiry. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone’s marketing.

3

What not to send us here

Please do not put Social Security numbers, ITINs, bank account details, or images of identity documents into the contact form. It is a convenient way to start a conversation, not a secure channel for sensitive material. Once we are in touch we will arrange a secure way to exchange documents, or handle them in person.

4

Cookies, analytics, and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, and no social media widgets. Nothing here follows you to other websites, and no advertising profile is built from your visit.

The typefaces used on this site are served from this site rather than from a font network, so no outside company is told that you visited.

5

Server records

This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, their servers automatically record standard request information — the IP address a request came from, the browser and operating system, the page requested, and the time. This happens for every website on the internet and is used to keep the service running and secure. We do not use those records to identify visitors, and we do not combine them with anything else.

6

Other companies involved

Two, and only for the purposes described above:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

7

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain ordinary business records. If you asked a question and did not become a client, you can ask us to delete your message and we will.

8

Your choices

Write to us at dstaxsolutions02@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will not charge you for asking and we will not treat you differently for it.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state law — California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and a growing number of other states have their own privacy statutes. Ask and we will tell you how they apply.

9

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging tax and business services. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

10

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date at the top. Material changes to how we handle information will not be applied retroactively to information already collected.
